Chitwan National Park:

Chitwan National Park, excellent habitats for more than 43 species of mammals and famous for endangered and elusive "Royal Bengal Tiger" and one horned Rhinoceros.

The park is home to two species of crocodiles, likewise fresh water Ghariel and March Mugger along with many other mammals. Such as Gaur (Asian bison) wild elephants, four species of antelopes, striped hyenas, pangolins, Gangetic dolphins, monitor lizards and pythons.

Other animals includes sloth bear, palm civets, langurs and rhesus monkeys, with over 450 different species of birds.

Bardiya National Park:

Located Far South Mid-West covers an area of 968 sq. kms. One of largest undisturbed park within complete wilderness. The park offers excellent habitat for endangered animals such as rhinoceros, wild elephant, and royal Bengal tiger.

Include many species of deer, crocodiles, and Gangetic dolphin with more than 30 different mammals, over 200 species of birds.

Kosi Tappu Wild Life Reserve:

Kosi Tappu Wildlife Reserve also a country’s largest bird sanctuary with an area of 175 Sq. Kms. Located Nepal Far South East with Gangetic plain of great Sapta Kosi, where seven mighty rivers joins.

Kosi Tappu Wild Life Reserve, provides important habitat for various species of wildlife. Famous for wild buffalo or Arna (which is near to extinction) are found here. Other mammals are the hog deer, wild boar, spotted deer, and the blue bull.

A total of 280 different species of birds have been recorded in the reserve, the Kosi Tappu is extremely important as resting place for migratory birds.
Many species recorded here are not seen elsewhere in Nepal. The endangered Ghariel crocodile and Gangetic dolphin have been recorded in the Koshi River.
